Encouragement For Your Marriage

God wants to bless your marriage! But it is up to the husband, wife to seek what God’s Word say about the marriage relationship and also most important is not only to know what God’s Word says about marriage but also to put the Word into action into our marriage.

The last time I shared I mentioned that the first step towards a dream marriage which was to believe it’s possible and to rekindle your desire for it.

Vicky and I have been married 38 years and I truly can say that we have found a way to rekindle our passion for our marriage, no it not a perfect marriage but we have found it to better today then it was when we first started out in this journey together, one of the greatest reasons for that is that we found Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and have made up our minds that He is in the center of our relationship!

Yet we must still seek to take that step to desire, believe that our marriage is great.

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)

So you have renewed desire for a great marriage. Now it’s time to complete the rest of the steps to that marriage that we all so want…. to delight yourself in the Lord.

It time to do some work! Yes work marriage is work if want that marriage we all seek after it going to take work!

I think that some of you are now thinking it time to move on to another web site! Your thinking “If God wanted me to have a great marriage, then He would just make it happen.” Not let me tell you that just not going to happen! Why because Vicky and I have our faults that we have to deals with and we sometimes hurt each other!

So if were waiting on God to make our marriage great without each one doing their part to make it happen we will never have that great marriage. It not the way it works for the supernatural to happen. God has to something “natural” to add the “super” to.

And that natural part is reading and meditating on God’s Word, then putting into (work) action what He’s instructed.

If you seeking God and acting on His ways, then the Bible promises that He will He will give you the desires of your heart. Do what so many people and maybe even not even your spouse and do the work God has instructed you to do. You’ll find that He’ll give you the strength to do everything He’s asked, if you go into it with the right attitude.

Your first job is to check out 1 Corinthians 13 and 1 Corinthians 7. These are great portion of scriptures in the Bible on love and marriage.
